f) Get body shape and anatomy details of each and every character.

g) Concerning the main hero and villain and heroine or any other main important supporting character, get full details of their clothing styles and hair styles.

All the above details you should have from you script writer and director so that your artist have maximum information about the character they are going to design. It will help them greatly while designing phases.

Now once you have done this make sure you have a great meeting where the interaction of your artists with your director and script is very important.
